Senior Electronics Manager. £60k to £75k + Bonus.

    An exciting opportunity to join a market leading global supplier of integrated solutions for the manufacture of innovative technical products that are used in industrial, pharmaceutical, chemical, scientific, process, glass coating and food packaging industries as well as a wide range of R&D applications.

 This is a senior role, and you will be tasked with developing technology, product strategy and road map for the electronics and motors business units. Key areas of focus for Electronics will be the development of controllers, drives, instrumentation and custom interfaces for our products and integrated systems. Focus for Motors and Drives will be initially managing the specification and / or design of efficient motors - mainly ac induction and brushless dc - but this may evolve to other motor technologies at a later date.

 Additional responsibilities will include Quality, Health and Safety, Budgetary Control, Recruitment and Team Development.

Technical expertise - ideally you will be qualified in electrical and / or electronic engineering with previous experience of design / development in engineering / manufacturing and some technical management. Knowledge of electric motors and embedded (microprocessor and DSP) and PC based software development would be an advantage but is not essential
